On a 650b rim, tires can hold far more air volume than a 700c wheel. This is perfect for extra compliance on gravel terrain or any off-road situation. For extra safety, there is a Sealtight feature which keeps mud, water, and everything else out of the bearings to keep the wheels fresh. These wheels come with dual freehub bodies to accommodate whatever setup you decide to use. A SRAM xD-R body accommodates both xD and xD-R cassettes while the Shimano freehub houses Shimano 10 and 11-speed cassettes.
