Campagnolos Ghibli Disc Wheels have a long track record, pun intended. Their new Track Tubular Disc Wheels, both front and rear, ensure that Campy will add much to that record.

Disc wheels for the track need to be stiff. Ghiblis already were. Campy decided the wheels needed to be both stiffer and lighter, as well as faster. So they went back to the drawing board. They figured out a new construction technique that allowed them to make the wheel stiffer while using less material. The wheels are stiffer than ever, and weigh only 820g for the front wheel, 825g for the rear. over locknut widths are 100mm and 120mm respectively, traditional track dimensions.

The carbon-fiber sheets are mounted to aluminum axles. The axles run on Campys ceramic CULT bearings that are secured into cup-and-cone races for the smoothest, least draggy action you can find.

The tubular rim bed has been widened to 20mm, wider than its been in the past, but still narrow enough to run narrow track tubulars.
