Long used on BMX grips for its shock-absorbing ability, each rib is evenly spaced, allowing for compression by the hand and flexing in the adjacent space. This feature offers a comfortable, flexible, and shock-absorbing texture, ideal for anyone from the cyclist seeking maximum comfort to those tackling rough terrain and flat landings. The Monarch grip has inherited its shape from decades of experience trying to hold on to life, followed by a long design development process lasting 18 months. During these 18 months, we interviewed over 1,000 people about their likes and dislikes regarding grips, tested countless grips, and even set up our in-house 3D printing and casting lab to rapidly test and refine the finest details through hundreds of hours of testing, down to the last 0.25mm seriously! The result is a grip design with an offset tapered core, tapered grip profile, soft 20A blend, thin 8mm clamp (for maximum grip area), the unique zigzag thumb pad provides distinctive pressure relief, high-grip finger bars (cut inward and not outward this is important!), two texture options, and two thickness options.
