Re-invented the traditional shape of the racing bike of the past, changing it slightly to optimize stiffness and balance, without compromising weight or strength. The Aethos is more than a new bike, it is the beginning of a new generation. A very light frame is useless if the driving characteristics do not inspire confidence. That's why for the Aethos the perfect mix of stiffness on the front and rear was sought in relation to ride quality. By studying the flexibility and every little detail of carbon fibers, Specialized has discovered a lot about how forces pass through the frame.
